We are right in the midst of Spring Break Ministry on Galveston Island!
This new year through the Summer months of 2009: We are ministering on Galveston Island, helping to rebuild people's hopes , dreams & lives - where Hurricane IKE left it's mark. Ray is functioning as a missionary pastor on the island, by reaching out to the residents, tourists, and volunteers coming to help the island recover.
We have found people are very touched through acts of kindness and service, (good deeds/ works) which in turn then gives us a credibility and an open door to share the Gospel message with individuals in a relative way (personalizing the Gospel).
Ray is serving as a missionary pastor at our ministry camp, where we have scheduled over 10,000 volunteers to eat, sleep and launch from our facility - throughout the island to lend a helping hand in the areas of clean-up, construction, restoration of their homes, businesses... their lives.

SATURDAY SEMINAR:
"How To Put Your Best Foot Forward (...and keep it there!)" - This is a well-received seminar designed for the church leadership, volunteers, congregation, and local community. This seminar was first conducted in 1996 for the men trying to get a new start on life @ Canaanland Ministries in Autaugaville, Alabama. Since that time, he has taught the principles of:
Effective Communication Skills (verbal & non-verbal)
Personal Appearance (the power of a good first impression)
Business Etiquette & Protocol
Formal/Executive Dining Skills
…all from a secular and a Biblical perspective - to those considered under-privileged & to corporate professionals alike.
Ray began the study of these subjects as a college student, while he was establishing himself in the Detroit market as Screen Actors Guild (SAG) union actor & professional model. He has a way of communicating this information in a way, which is interesting, practical, entertaining & most importantly...immediately applicable.
This seminar will help anyone to be more qualified for advancement in their current & future desired areas of employment during these more competitive days in the marketplace!

SUNDAY MINISTRY:
On Sunday morning, Ray ministers in the worship service (or if the pastor prefers, the message and ministry can extend further to a Sunday evening service as well). Whether in a Traditional, Seeker-Friendly, or Pentecostal Church environment, Ray's 20+ years of ministry has prepared him to minister in each of these venues in a relatable and effective mannor. Those in attendance will be inspired, challenged, encouraged... and EMPOWERED to be all they can be to make an impact in this world for Christ.
